Sink or Swim

Game Description:
Dive into the bubbly fun of 'Sink or Swim,' my submission to Rider University's Inaugural 48-hour Game Jam! In this adventure, players take on the role of a courageous rubber duck in a thrilling single-player, level-based side-scroller, facing off against a crew of bath toys while defending your boat. Use your tactical abilities to evade bubbles while simultaneously preventing your ship from sinking!

Additional information:

On this game I worked with one other student. I took charge of the coding while also contributing to the pixel art that brings our game to life.  I am really proud of this game as it was my first game jam and I managed to place second.  Participating in this game jam was an amazing experience, opening my eyes to new possibilities and pushing the boundaries of my skills. I'm eagerly looking forward to diving into more events like this in the future, as I learned so much from this one.
